He and his wife Rita lived at 790 Norris Road, Prescott, AZ 86305. Mitch was a builder. He had some lung problems and they moved to Arizona for health reasons. These men seem to have been picked up in Fowey England in August 1944: Conklin, Wesley G from Newark NJ Nesser,George P from Rochester NY Valliere, Joseph G. from Springfield Mass Records indicate that after LCI(L) 489 was decommissioned most of the men went to Vicarage in Plymouth England. Troutman and Weinstock went to LCI(L)496 on Oct. 31, 1944. Higgins, Spampinato and Smith went to Bupers C/L 297-44. |
