| Bill McCone passed away April 17, 2002 in his sleep. He had suffered from Parkinson's Disease for some time and had lost a lot of weight. He had fallen recently and cracked a rib and his health declined rapidly. Bill was the Communication Officer on the 489. He was a devoted husband and father. I met Mr. McCone in June 2001 at the LCI National Reunion in Reno, Nevada. He will be missed by many. |
